Six steps to get involved
Taking part in a tender might sound complicated, so we've broken the procedure down into six clear steps below. Taking part gives you the chance to help build skills in the IX sector by sharing your knowledge and experience and building on work you've already done.
Want to know more? In the market consultation document (opens in new window) you'll find all the information about the tender. Chapter 4 includes a detailed step-by-step plan for taking part.

How much time does an expression of interest take?
Working in a small team? This tender is worth your while too. With a relatively modest time investment, you can build on work you've already done. For the expression of interest, you don't need to submit a full project plan. You simply state your interest, provide information about your company, and supply references from previous projects. A development plan is only needed later, at the proposal stage. That's only required if you're selected.
Please note: to stimulate the market as effectively as possible, each applicant may take part only once. Selection will also aim for a good spread across the different themes and learning objectives.
Do I need experience developing learning experiences?
Haven't developed a learning experience before? No problem. You can also team up with a professional training partner for your application.
The tender is open to small-scale makers and more experienced companies alike. What matters is your demonstrable expertise in immersive experiences.
Am I already too late?
To take part via TenderNed, you'll need eHerkenning at level EH2+ or higher. Don't have it yet? You can request it urgently, for example via Digidentity (opens in new window) or Reconi (opens in new window).
It doesn't matter whether you submit your application early. All entries received in time are treated equally. Your submission effectively goes into a digital vault that only opens after the deadline. Anyone who meets the conditions of the expression of interest can, in principle, take part. If there are more suitable applicants than available places, priority will first be given to achieving a good spread across themes and learning objectives. If there are still more suitable applicants than places after that, a draw will decide.
What do I get out of it?
If you're selected based on your expression of interest, you'll be invited to submit a proposal with a development plan. A budget of up to €35,000 (excl. VAT) is available for this. In this first development phase, you'll work out your idea into a proof of concept. Up to 36 applicants will get this opportunity.
After a further selection round, 15 applicants will develop their concept into a CIIIC Training Module. A budget of up to €55,000 (excl. VAT) is available for this. Ultimately, your training module will be used to further develop professionals in the IX sector.
Still not sure? Let us know you're interested via tender@clicknl.nl. CLICKNL will then invite you to take part, once you've registered as a business in TenderNed. You have until 11:00 on 12 November to submit your application.
